Our sizing is designed around a classic, slightly relaxed fit, with enough room for comfortable movement and layering.

Age is intended as a guide. Two toddlers at the same age may need different clothes sizes, because length, not age, is what really counts. We recommend using your child’s height as the best starting point when choosing a size.

The measurements below refer to the finished garment laid flat, rather than the child's body.

Chest width
Measured straight across the garment from underarm to underarm.

Total length
Measured from the shoulder at the neckline to the bottom hem.

Sleeve length
Measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

Shoulder width
Measured straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

Between Sizes?

If your child falls between two sizes, choose the the larger size for a little more room to grow.

For the most accurate comparison, lay a sweater that currently fits your child flat and compare its measurements with the garment measurements above.

Beanie Size Guide

Our merino wool ribbed beanie has natural stretch, so it will gently adapt to your child’s head while maintaining a comfortable fit.

For the best fit, measure around the widest part of your child’s head, just above the eyebrows and ears.
